Surveying on the evening 267 bus

Frome and villages bus users group have been surveying on the 267 bus from 2000 up until 2310. We have travelled on all 4 of the 267 buses between Frome and Bath currently funded by Bath and North East Council.  We were  have  surveyed  the Monday to Thursday service as First bus have said that they can run the Friday and Saturday service without funding. We later decided to survey the Friday and Saturday services as well so that we have a complete weeks worth of data.

We would like to thank all of the bus users who have been surveyed for their help especially those who we have seen more than once.

TRUE LOVE THREATENED BY 267 BUS CUTS

The evening midweek 267 allows recently engaged couple, Bath-based Laura and Frome’s Adrian, to see each other and do whatever young couples in love get up to.

During the day these two both are working very hard to save for the day they’ll walk down the aisle together. So they rely on the evening 267 to bring them together....

Cuts to the 267 evening buses in September would mean they wouldn’t be able to see each other. Trains aren’t an option as the railway stations are simply too far to walk, most especially late at night. Taxis aren’t an option either .. totally unaffordable.

So cuts to the evening midweek 267 would end night time trysts for Laura and Adrian.

All set for another evening's surveying on the 267

We will be surveying Monday to Thursday on all 4 evening buses that are funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council

We apologise to bus users in advance as you may be asked to take part in the survey. If you are travelling everyday this week you will be asked to take the survey more than once.
